A short note from the founding team.

OCTAVE LAB was started by a small group of people who had spent too long reading peptide labels and getting frustrated.

For a category that sells itself on science, the practice is remarkably unscientific. Concentrations are hidden. Trademarks substitute for data. Marketing copy says “clinical-strength” on bottles where the active sits below 0.5%. We wanted to make the small, calm version of this category — the version where you can flip the box, read the percentage, look up the study, and feel like an adult.

So we narrowed to five products. One hero peptide each. The percentage on the front, in monospace. The batch report on the box, behind a QR code. The promise on the website written in plain English.

If the bottle does what it says, that's the whole business model. If it doesn't, we close.
